SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION

Driver  Ni-Engine

Driver to manage and manipulate Analog e Digital signal acquired from National Instruments devices DAQ  series.

Features:

  1. User friendly interface
  2. Not limited devices
  3. Not limited Input and output channels
  4. Output conditioning
  5. Output Ethernet – UDP protocol

NI_Engine

WorkFlow:

With a simple list is possible to assign name in text format at each signals and channels.

Linear conditioning for each Output signal.

NI_Engine creates a message with variable, value and other control fields for each signal and send the message in a defined interval.

The text message was send in UDP protocol at an IP address and Port defined in a configuration file.

AUTOMATION HARDWARE SPECIFICATION

SYSTEM

All the bridge components are fully cabled, interfaced with the Control PC via a standard interface (USB or Ethernet). The PC interacts with the physical components of the bridges and talk with the simulation system via Ethernet Standard UDP

THE FIELD INTERFACE

I/F Standard (USB or Ethernet)  to talk with the PC software driver

Modules to interface the field:

  • 48 Digital Input
(to read the push button / switch activation)
  • 48 Digital Output
(to turn on/off the signaling leds)
  • 8 Analog Input Channel +/- 10V
(to read the position of main controls like rudder, power levers, …)
  • 8 Analog Output Chanel +/- 10V
(to manage analogical indicators like Engine RPM, Rudder indicator, …)

110-240 VAC

DIN Rail mount

THE PHYSICAL INPUT DEVICES

  • Main Rudder
    (wheel and electronic helm)
  • 2 potentiometric controls for manage separately the rudders
  • Control Head for two engines
  • 8 panels with buttons/switches/signaling leds
(chain / alarms / point of view selector / autopilot / lights / thrusters / rudders selection)

Binocular control panel with analogical Joystick and zoom buttons
