YACHT SIMULATIOR 3 is a new simulation system, created by IBR Systems, for pleasure craft conditions thought up for nautical schools and ship-owners.
DESIGNED to simulate small and medium size vessels. It is easy to use, easy to maintain and limits the costs.
MODULAR and expandable, it can be adapted to specific needs or to emulate boats for promotional purposes.
MAIN FEATURE
THE SYSTEM’S SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE COMPONENTS
Yacht Sim 3 provides two operating positions: the command bridge and the managers’ position in order to organize and configure the mission.
There are three different embarking simulations provided each with its own appropriate physical behaviors.
The simulation can take place using three different theaters: two realistic and one, fantasy, thought up for the formation and carrying out of multiple exercises.
THE COMMAND BRIDGE made out of fiberglass, it includes the rudder wheel, the two motor controls, the bow thruster control, the monitor which shows the virtual equipment and the cartographic navigation systems other than the principal commands.
MANAGER allows the instructor of the theater of operation to set the simulation time, configure the weather conditions (rain, wind, fog, etc.) and set the water conditions depending on predetermined scales, position the target in the scene and select the type of vessel to be used in the simulation. During the simulation it allows one to overview operations done by those who are on the command bridge.
VISUALIZATION is presented through three channels connected to three 32″ widescreen monitors.
Yacht Sim 3 is open to new implementations and future expansion. The consol is designed in a way so they are able to be placed side by side in order to create a more complex command system.
The software architecture is made to allow future updates
